Prof. Herbert Cubasch is a highly regarded surgeon who specializes in treating breast diseases. He founded the Batho Pele Breast Unit, which provides training to nurses, medical students, and doctors in oncoplastic surgery for breast cancer. Prof. Cubasch is an associate professor at Wits University and has made significant contributions to the Soweto Comprehensive Center at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and is involved in many international breast research projects.

He has a strong background in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery, with a particular interest in breast reconstruction and breast cosmetic surgery. Dr. Nebil Lahouel has a proven track record as a specialist plastic surgeon, having previously served as a Senior Lecturer at Wits University and as the head of the plastic surgery unit at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.

Dr. Uzma Majeed is a skilled Radiation Oncologist with extensive experience in managing breast cancer. She uses advanced radiotherapy technology to provide cutting-edge treatment to her patients such as IMRT and VMAT.
Dr. Majeed is an honorary senior lecturer and consultant in Radiation Oncology at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital.
She is also a Director at the Milpark Radiotherapy unit . Additionally, Dr. Majeed is a respected and valued Peer Reviewer for Solid tumours at the South African Oncology Consortium (SAOC).

Dr. Nuraan Abdurahman is a partner at Dr. De Villiers and Partners, located within the premises of Garden City Hospital. She is a general radiologist with a keen interest in breast imaging and women’s health. Dr. Abdurahman leads a team comprising of mammographers and sonographers who are committed to women’s health and breast care. The team provides a wide range of services, including mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, as well as stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
